Woman Files Lawsuit Over Misleading Movie Trailer
0A Michigan woman is suing Film District Distribution LLC, the company that distributed the smash-hit movie Drive and the theater where she watched said movie. She is suing because the trailer had made it seem like the movie was going to be more like Fast and the Furious.
WDIV-TV in Detroit reports that:
Sarah Demings suit claims that FilmDistrict and Emagine Novi Theater violated Michigans Consumer Protection Act by releasing such a disingenuous advertisement for their driving-deficient crap-film. Drive “bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film … having very little driving in the motion picture,” states the lawsuit which also alleges anti-Semitism. Deming wants her money back, and also “an end to misleading trailers”
Truth be told there wasn’t much driving in the movie at all. Maybe she should read some reviews before watching a movie? That is why people write them after all.. right?
