School Believes Six Year Old Boy Sexually Assaulted Another Boy
0A California dad claims that a game of tag on a school playground resulted in his six-year-old son being accused of sexual assault.
The unnamed parent said he son was accused of brushing his best friend’s leg/groin while the two were playing on the playground at Lupine Hills Elementary.
The child was kept in the principals office for two hours until he confessed. He was suspended and a sexual battery charge was placed on his permanent record.
“To me, I think it’s an overreaction,” said Marilyn Cheeks, a Lupine Hills Elementary parent
It wasn’t until the family got a lawyer that the school backed off. Legally there is no such thing as sexual assault for a six-year-old in California.
