The Whole World Looks At Porn

Following up to our report that 30% of all internet traffic is porn – we have some details about the world’s largest porn site, Xvideos:

- Xvideo currently receives 4.4 billion page views and 350 million unique visits per month, according to a report on the ExtremeTech website. The only websites that surpassed this kind of traffic are the likes of Facebook and Google.

- It’s estimated that a whopping 50 GBs of porn is transferred per second. That’s the equivalent of 10 dual-layer DVDs.

- ExtremeTech estimated that Xvideos uploads 40 petabytes or 40,000 terabytes of porn to their server each month.

With such a large amount of internet users browsing porn – it has become a hotspot for security attacks. Earlier this year thousands of YouPorn users had their passwords and emails leaked online by hackers. In total 6433 users were affected.
