Americans Come To Canada For Fake Stomachs

It’s pretty disturbing, the lengths that people will go to lose just a few founds off their chest.

The latest craze is actually out of Canada – the only place it’s legal. Americans are driving across the border to have a liquid-filled balloon surgically implanted into their gut – for a constant feeling of fullness.

The FDA says the high risk/ low reward are the reasons for their delay to approve the procedure. Various risks include infections, ulcers and having the balloon explode inside your body causing most certain death.

NY Times doesn’t fully believe it will work. They stand behind eating good and staying active:

“Successful weight loss with the intragastric balloon depends on lifestyle changes, including a better diet and increased physical activity.”

It seems like the NY Times has uncovered Canada’s plan to kill all the fat people in the world.
