In many parts of Central America, soda drinks such as Coca-Cola are served in plastic Ziploc bags – so that they’re more affordable. In order to ensure that the iconic shape of the bottle is maintained in these bags, Coke has created eco-friendly “Coca-Cola bags” as an alternative to its traditional plastic or glass bottles.

Coca-Cola claims that the bags are cheaper to produce, cheaper to ship and easier to recycle than the average bottle.
