11-Year-Old Boy Boards Plane From Manchester to Italy Without Ticket Or Passport
0An 11-year-old boy managed to board a plane from Manchester to Rome on his own without a ticket, passport or boarding pass.
The unnamed boy made it past security by mingling with the families heading through the security screen.
It wasn’t until the plane was mid-air that passengers became suspicious.
An airport spokesman said the boy passed through security checks but was never asked to show any documentation.
“It is clear that documentation has not been checked correctly at security and the boarding gate.
“The boy went through full security screening, so the safety of passengers and the aircraft was never compromised.”
Upon landing, the boy went straight to the nearest aircraft and flew back to Rome.
The boy arrived safety to his family, which is where – reports say – he was running away from.
