Marvel Could Be Planning An Avengers TV Show
0Despite the recent success of The Dark Knight: Rises, the biggest superhero-filled blockbuster this summer is Marvel’s The Avengers which has already earned $1.4bn internationally.
Marvel is already planning Iron Man 3 and Thor 3 for next summer and Captain America 2 the year after, but they are still looking to squeeze some more money from their comic-cash-cows.
Deadline has reported that they are currently working with ABC to develop a TV show that exists within the same universe but most likely without any of the same characters. It’s currently in the very early stages of development, although it’s expected to exist as a “high-concept cop show.”
Not to be left out, it’s rumored that Guillermo Del Toro is developing a Hulk TV show.
