Alcoholic Sandwiches Are Now A Thing

Salume, a panini shop in Manhattan have started to offer what they call ‘alcoholic sandwiches.’ Customers of the restaurant are now able to buy several different paninis that are infused with either scotch or gin.

Here’s the kicker: none of the alcohol is cooked off during the assembly of the sandwich since the alcohol is added after the oven.

There’s no word on whether or not you have to be of legal drinking age to order the sandwich, but we can safely assume yes once word gets out.
