Man Dressed As Sasquatch To Provoke Sightings Run Over By Car
0A man dressed in a Ghillie suit was struck by two cars and killed last week.
Montana Highway Patrol says the man was wearing a military style “Ghillie suit” and was standing in the right-hand lane of U.S. Highway 93 when he was hit by the first car Sunday night. A second car hit him later as he lay in the roadway.
“You can’t make it up. I haven’t seen or heard anything like this before. Obviously, his suit made it difficult for people to see him.”
44-year-old Randy Lee Tenley was “trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting,” Trooper Jim Schneider told the local newspaper.
Ghillie suits are typically used by members of the military. They’re often advertised on the internet as having a ‘Bigfoot-like’ appearance.
According to Trooper Jim Schneider, “alcohol may have been a factor.”
I think it’s pretty clear what happened, Jim. Bigfoot was hit by two cars and left on the road to die.
R.I.P. Bigfoot – we hardly knew ye.
