A Day of Silence
0Dear Readers,
You might have noticed that I haven’t given you something to talk about today and you aren’t mistaken. I haven’t posted anything interesting, fun or inspiring for you today and nor will I.
As insignificant as October 5th may seem, it has myself and many others reminiscing. There are a few topics I refuse to discuss on The Hungry and Foolish and the events that transpired a year ago today is one of them.
If I can, I would like to leave you with one word of advice today — commit:
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating — in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation.
“To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life.” - Anne Morriss
Take a closer look at the world today. Breath it in. You never know how much time you have to enjoy the things that you have been given.
Talk to you tomorrow,
Kevin Wild
