McHungry? Michael Jordan’s ‘McJordan’ McDonald’s Sauce Hits eBay for $10K

Michael Jordan was a defining characteristic of the 90s. Everything he wore, from his shoes to his pants were endorsed by various companies.

It wasn’t surprising when McDonald’s announced in 1992 that they were launching the McJordan Burger. The sandwich consisted of a beef patty with onions, pickles, cheese, bacon and a special barbecue sauce made specifically for the McJordan.

Nearly 20 years later, a one gallon jug of the special McJordan barbecue sauce landed on eBay. The starting bid? $9,995.

You’d think that $10K for a gallon of BBQ sauce is overpriced, but the buyer stresses that this is “a once in lifetime chance to own the rarest of rare Michael Jordan and McDonald’s collectible” and that it is possibly, the “last one left on Earth.”

One lucky buyer jumped on the opportunity and bought it for the asking price a few days after being posted.
