Teen Arrested in Australia for Impersonating a Doctor

A 17-year-old teen from Australia was arrested for pretending to be a doctor for the past several months.

He was referred to as “Dr Who” in the hospital and was often seen walking around in scrubs with a stethoscope around his neck. According to Sky News, he was confident and fully versed in medical language, therefore believed to be an actual doctor.

The police had been tipped off several months prior, but weren’t able to arrest the teen as he “hadn’t committed a crime.”

Fortunately for the hospital, the teen made a slip when he offered a 12-year-old girl unauthorized prescription drugs after she had fallen off her scooter.

According to the Daily Mail, he was charged with administering a prescription drug, aggravated assault and identity theft.
