Enjoy Watching Irony As Teen Falls 45 Feet From Ski Lift

Before I say anything about how ironic this whole thing is, you must know this teen was trying to throw a snowball at his friends when he slipped off of his chair, held on with one arm,  and then fell to the ground. Keeping that in mind, you can feel free to point and laugh.

Basically, the kid is home and he is fine,” said Cody Sheppard, the ski patrol director at Ski Santa Fe. “It was kind of a dramatic deal. I guess he was attempting to throw a snowball to the chair in front of him, where some friends were, and when he threw the snowball, the momentum just carried him out of the chair. He did hang on for awhile, but then he had to drop.”

Thankfully he didn’t require any surgery and is at home in stable condition.

This is probably the reason why they have a safety bar. For safety.
